Quiet pump (2000-2500gph)

I just picked up one of these for my setup it is not submersible but it draws only 1.2 amps and pumps a lot of water. not to mention you can't here is at all it cost a bit but seems to be worth it. My only complaint is it took forever to get it. Like 2.5-3 weeks

I use the 2400 max flow and I have my TV right there in the living room. I don't have any problem. URLs been running for 2 yrs now without any issues. Is Ur system closed off with glass covers. I have my sump all covered with glass.. think it also makes difference.

Because pumps have moving parts, it is nearly impossible to remove all vibration, which will obviously create sound.
I have 3 Lagunas and find them relatively quiet, especially compaired to my 3 Mag Drives which are much louder.
I find putting large filter sponges under pumps to lessen vibration, and also put sponges where any PVC pipe meets a tank or sump solid surface.
Where I worked, even external pumps were bolted down to cement blocks to lessen vibration noise, which also added a few years of extended use.

So i just got a really bad laguna then.. I have no other lagunas to compare it to.. Thing is i've kept it as a back up in case something happened to my main pump that was really quiet.. It broke down in the middle of the night last night of vacation and you're not picky in that situation.. I thought i would give my next pump a little more thought..

I actually ordered one last night..

Jebao 10 000lph eco pump.. I'm truly sceptical but a fellow mfker swore on his fish it was a good pump.. If it is as good as he says its really a bargain.. He even offered to buy it from me if it doesnt deliver.. I'll update when it arrives so this thread may be of use for someone else..

Update..

The jebao 10 000 eco is really quiet (sounds like a fly or a small bee flying by 10 feet from you) and i don't doubt the 10 000lph.. 85w is also less than i expected.. From 3 days use i have only good things to say about it.. Thumbs up!
