I'm in the market for a pump to run an ocean clear canister maybe 2. I would like 10x hour turnover on my 125. Now the big thing I'm looking for is no noise, this will be in the living room, so I need it quiet. Also I don't really want to break the bank. Does a pump to fit my needs exist? I've been reading tons of reviews on different pumps for the last few days.

I've found Quiet One pumps to be pretty silent overall. They are reasonably prices as well.

What is your budget? I'm a fan of DC pumps. Price range varies and many are relatively quiet. I have two Waveline running in my living room - so noise was also a concern.

Any pump will create vibration sound if installed in a way that it is allowed to move in any small way, or if the PVC, or other plumbing touches tank sides, or anything else that reacts to movement.
I switched from Mag Drives (very noisy beyond just vibration) to Laguna due to the noise issue, but found unless I baffled plumbing that leaned against tank sides, and placed the pump on a sponge, vibration can occur.
I have also found strapping a pump to a brick can do a lot to holding noise at bay.
Many pumps have holes on the casing to bolt the pump tp something solid.
Below I used a filtration sponge to baffle between plumbing and the side of the sump

and the pump in the sump above, is perched upon a sponge to reduce vibration

Mine was the worst, so much vibration and hum. Switched to a Jebao DC pump and it's silent

Really, I've had multiple Quiet Ones and never had any noise out of them. Well, except the one I ran a LOT of sand through. It got a bit sketchy.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've looked at a few of these already. I would like to stay less than $200 for the budget. I also need one that runs externally, which I didn't really mention. The danner mag drives seems ok but the larger ones say they can't be run externally. I plan to try a silicon baking sheet as a pad under the pump and use flex tubing instead of PVC. Hopefully that'll kill some noise.

For external pumps, I find bolting the pump to a heavy brick or cinder block helps tremendously.
And if they don't have pre-drilled holes for bolting, I have used metal strapping (the kind used to hang plumbing), wrapped around the pump, and bolted to a brick, or concrete block.
The block and pump could be encased in a box or some sort to further reduce sound, but then a small fan (such as the kind that cools amplifiers) to remove heat is a good idea.
