Quite One 4000?

The pump on my pond which I think is a mag drive buzzes whenever it sucks up a twig or pebble. Maybe that is whats wrong and it just needs to be cleaned out. Do you have a prefilter on the pump? The pump at work for our show tank was buzzing and barely pumping its water up. It couldn't suck well because the prefilter was really clogged up with junk.
 
No my pump does not have a prefilter on it, but there is no way that is could have sucked up anything. The wet/dry filter has a prefilter on it between the bio balls and the area for the pump. Even still I think I will take it apart tomorrow and check it out to make sure.
 
Yea, our wet/dry at work has a prefilter before the bio balls and pumps prefilter still got clogged. I think one of the new people messed with the sump or something. Just keep playing with it and looking and listening. I'm sure you will find the problem.
