quitting fish keeping

I also agree and dont think its fish TB. The symptoms of lack of growth and loss of weight are also symptoms of internal parasites. And I haven't found anywhere that said TB causes a fish to stop growing. I'm not sure if your growth expectations are super high but I can't for certain say this is fish TB. Also in 3 or 4 years here you're not only the first cause I read about with you orginal posting from last year until now. The fact that you've gotten it multiple times make me question if it really is. Bottom line is you need to give us more than fish thins out and dies. If you gave more symptoms like fish dropping scales, ulcers, deformities, and loss of color. Best thing you can do is preform an autopsy on the BP when it passes and look for deformities and legions on the kidneys

Well it says they stop growing here http://www.fishyportal.com/cgi-bin/pub/diag?c=v&id=49

And if it's internal parasites what kind of medication would you recommend? I'm willing to make any last effort in the slight chance that this was a misdiagnosis. I can't remember what kind of medication I used exactly but I remember one brand I used was copper safe but it didn't work.

All of my fish die in the same pattern, they start thinning out around the belly, stop growing, and swim strange and sort of wobbly. You'd think that after I replaced everything and started fresh that it wouldn't happen again...

Coopersafe won't do anything for internal parasites, just external. Start off with prazi/metro combo its marketed as General Cure by API. Are your fish still feeding?

*Have you ever ask yourself why?
*Why same thing keep happen to your fish even after replaced everything?
*The best solution is find the SOURCE problem in the first place.
*Asking for help is the last resort option and it's internet, we don't know exact what's happen to your fish but BASE on your information, sometime things work out for others base on our advises and sometime it does not work because the information given was off and will follow with an off advises.

Yes they are. Can you specify what you mean by "prazi/metro marketed as general cure"? Do you mean the actual product General Feeding already has the combo in it?

The issue is I have NO idea what the source is. Especially considering this happened twice. I've thought long and hard and the only thing I thought that pointed to the source was the first fish I got that seemed to have these odd symptoms back in 2012. Of course that doesn't explain how it came back, how it destroyed everything, etc

The actual product is General Cure by API, the ingredients are metronidazole and praziquantel.
I looked around on internal parasites and it seems that Ichthyosporidium matches the symptoms my fish have been having, at least for the most part. It says I should treat Ichthyosporidium with Phenoxethol, so should I do that instead of general cure or run a triple combo and medicate with general cure and Phenoxethol?

Most internal parasites have the exact symptoms and there are 1000's of different kinds between the worms and protozoans. I would stick with general cure because it has broad coverage.
