This thread is foolish. Get out a tapemeasure for proof of these sizes or its a total fail. Based on the size of the bubbles and parrots in pic 1 I dont believe for 1 sec that fish is 12" long. Simply not possible. If it is 12" you need to stop adding bubble wand soap to your tank and have the biggest non kkp parrots ive ever seen.(oh and the bubbles are caused by excess proteins aka bad water quality, reduce stock or up wc until the surface is clear. Surface film can lead to low O2 rapidly which is why using melafix or pimafix they tell you to add air)

Same with fish 2. Unless you are running abnormally large airline hoses that fish isnt as big as you say. Standard airline hose is 1/8". Maybe yours is 1/2" and throwing off scale but I doubt it.
 
I cant really speak on this guy's behalf but i think this thread is about how several factors can distort your judgement on how big a fish is.

If it isnt then I agree with you.
