he looks great! there is barely a scratch on him... i was try to inspect his eye. does one eye look different then the other?

reason I asked is....the kelberis I'm going to get are about 5inches...I'm woundering if the specks in the fins shows up at 5inches or later in age?

they gain their speckle as they get older..

no.. i don't really check the classified forum as often as i should.. saves me money that way..

to be honest i wouldnt know bro.... this is my first kelberi... and im starting to learn alot about know... temperments... all i gotta say is... WOW... they do not back down @ all!!! its like crunk you(tem), naw, CRUNK YOU!!!!(kelberi)

yea.. one of the many reasons i love the orinos so much.. tough little brats.. even when they live with fish twice their size.

i vouch for that ... orinos are one of the meanest cichla i have ever owned yet the guys i have now are kind of mild.. they havnt reached that size yet

i think we're derailing Junior's thread.. lol. these guys have been mean from day one.. I (i keep saying 'we' and having to go back and change it) got 6 of them from N-E cichlids, i think it was the first time he imported them. they were wild caught and they proved it right away..

because i believed my wonderful ex hubby (ha) i lost 3 the first night to crayfish. the second night i lost a fancy guppy to an orino that wasn't as big as the fish he ate.. the orino survived.. surprised the stuffin' out of me.

orinos grow slow.. and i think they are one of the smaller peacock bass when they are full grown.. might be why they are so tough.. lol.

i don't know about kelberi, i just want one cause they are pretty.. lol .
