If you've ever watched tv in Southern California, you probably can remember a wacky Cal Worthington Ford commercial. His commercials are fond and very early memories of mine as they began in the early 70s. At one time I worked as a salesman for Ford, and I'd hear stories of what a generous guy he was. R.I.P Cal

Wow.

I haven't lived in So Cal for 23 years, and I still remembered most of the words to the song.

RIP Cal.
 
Grew up listening to that commercial. Always looked forward to what animal he would bring out each time.

forever ingrained in my brain


as a kid, when the commercial came on, I thought they were saying "p**** cow, p**** cow, p**** cow"

but they were saying, "go see cal, go see cal, go see cal"

I truly thought that as a kid for the longest time

and I thought it was only me that heard it that way
 
Should be at the top of misheard lyrics, at least in SoCal.
 
in one of his commercials he was walking a white cow around the lot so I thought it was what he calls his cow. kind of like "pussy cat" but with the word "cow"
