C.W. Ford was big in AK when I was growing up, still is I think. I thought it was P- cow as well on the commercials. Heard him interviewed recently on the Bill Handel show. Interesting guy, sorry to hear he's gone.

Yea, he was kind of a local celebrity here. Ive heard soo many stories about how he knew how to have a good time. My friends aunt dated him back in the day, my aunt used work at the Long Beach Marriot and said hed check in with a few friends and rage for days. Even TMZ followed him around!

Yea, hes still on the radio. As a matter of fact he died the day after I said, "Man! Cal Worthington still doin his thang, but he sounds oooold!" :(
 
He was a True one-of-a-kind Original. Each new commercial was it's own little mini-show, and more entertaining than whatever you were watching on tv at the time!

That was back when they only ran one or two commercials during a program but they were five minutes long.
