Switch your kits. I don't feel convinced by test strips. Your high ammonia result and possible ammonia intoxication is contradicted by your acidic pH.
 
My issue is, if it's not ammonia, what else could it be?
 
I used an API liquid test, and no ammonia left in the tank, pH is reading around 7.6, which is my pH at tap. My ammonia is 0, nitrites 0, nitrates 5, which can be attributed to my rapid water changes. Got a heater and salt to do battle with this ich.
 
How are the fish so far? Water parameters as last tested are okay now.
