Richard Pryor was the black Lenny Bruce. I think he was the first comedian to bridge the racial comedy divide. Lenny Bruce made it so you could speak your mind, and Richard made it so that everyone would listen to you, regardless of color. RIP Richard, it's been a hard life for you, and you deserve your rest.
