sad but true, except amongst musicians and other afficionados.
 
Theres been quite a few other influental musicians pass on over recent years i cant really remember them getting much coverage :( they deserve to be remembered i mean there was
Benjamin of The cars in 2000
Dimebag darrel of damageplan and pantera, was murdered on stage in 2004
Layne stanely of alice in chains in 2002
Brad delp of boston in 2007
I can go on and on

Its all terrible stuff but it just seems that the death of a super star like micheal jackson is going to overshadow everybody else

I think it was because of MJs catchy music. his style and the way be made music wasnt just for one specific group but everyone. I must say MJ is up there. and i aint saying other superstars shouldnt be up there too
