my first fish was a red Oscar that lived for about 9 years. I was a junior in high school when I got him, and married with kids when he died. I was super upset when I came home to him floating one day. he was a grumpy old guy, but he was my bud. I got rid of my tank when he passed, and only started keeping fish again few months ago. I already have a little clown knife, a florida gar, a sun cat, and a green terror(who now has his own tank cuz he is a bit of a jerk lol). you always remember your first the most fondly. r.i.p cartman the fish
sorry to hear tht guys.. we all have experienced it.. my dad had a red tail giant gourami once.. he had it for 2yrs+ then it died.. his fish's death made him stop keeping fish.. i continued his hobby 1yr later
