Only change was that i got him eating earthworms a week ago . He was in a 180 gal tank with 2 ac110s and 2 rena xp3s and a sponge filter rated for 85 gal . I hear that they are prone to sds sudden death syndrome . While all my focus was on the motoro .well this sucks thanks for the kind words though

on the bright side.....you most likely gave the retic a much better, and longer life than alot of other people could have. least your guy wasent crammed into a small tank and was taken care of properly im assuming. unlike the fate too many other rays meet.

now get out there and save another one from an unhealthy life in a poor tank :)

My guess is the motoro stressed the ray out pretty good.

very possible motoro is more aggressive than retic...
