Where did you get the earthworms? I wonder if they might have caused a problem?

I buy the fishing worms from walmart and I was kinda wondering that myself but you never see a post on how to "detect" a sick worm. Alot of my fish eat them and seems to not affected the others but then again one could have been sick and another not who knows.

i used to feed them my only concern was parasites though... either way i would rince all earthworms in cold tap water really well before feeding them...

That sucks, I just lost a retic I had for over 8 months last week to a nasty systemic infection. Sorry for your loss.
