Anyone here recommend a good R/O DI system. i tried Coralife but is is slower than the stated 50 gallons a day. looking for a 100 gpd system with pressure regulator and even an auto top off kist. Any experienced help will be much appreciated, my inverts told me so.

It should work at 50g a day with good water pressure. I have a spectra pure R/O that is supposed to produce 180g a day but only really makes about 120 without the pressure boosting pump. With the pump on it It produces 180 easy. That pump cost me almost $200.00 though.

Unless your going saltwater, RO is a waster of money IMO. Try ebay they have some decent RO filters.

Obviously you have never done a softwater or planted tank. RO is very important for planted tanks, as well as softwater if you are on a well or aquifer. My KH out of the tap is 8dKH and I need 3 or less.

do what i do. find a mate that does saltwater so has a decent RO, and go around and fill up a few buckets lol
