Then why is it in the hybrid section? Red texas are a cross between a midas/devil and carpintis (large spots mean carpintis, not cyanogutattus). Who knows if there is anything else thrown into the mix??

yeah man...we use a texas(carpintas w/e) X midas/devail or parrot...that makes RT then we choose the ones that fade the black off and turn red from the F1 generation and then breed F1 with a red Flowerhorn with head too start the line of SRT (Super Red Texas)

That flowerhorn has the colouring of a dwraf gourami. That fish is probably the nicest one I have seen in a LONG time.

could you line breed to keep the color??? other than adding f.h. could anything else be added?
