Lol. I have a ton of knives and I hunt I'm 14. All you need to do is get one of those air rifle pellet guns. One shot and that raccoon is running

Get a bigger gun? Have you seen a .308 round? That's some serious ammo there! Some big rounds! I use .308's to kill bears!

I meant bigger than the .22, which you did.
My husband has an old 30.06 hunting rifle.
I shot it once. LOL. can't remember whose idea that was.

Have you thought about trapping it??? Either use a live trap or a body gripping trap that kills it for you, They're quite easy to make and very effective.

Better think twice in the city, might get a dog or cat.

You can use a humane trap, and kill it inside there. but there's more than one of them creeping around that pond..

I had an above ground pond many years back. Raccoons came in and killed all my 8 year old Goldfish, 6 Koi, 2 Catfish, and a Pleco. It didn't even seem like they wanted to eat most of them...they bit the head off the Pleco, both Catfish were half eaten, all the Koi were gone, and my Goldfish was scattered throughout my backyard. Kind of upsetting so I broke down the pond.

I ended building a new pond years later, but I keep a lattice fence on top now. No problems now.

Its just one them he's so much larger then the others. The others can't get in only this one big one. I need to find ways to kill it. Maybe make a spear? Tie a knife to the end of a big stick and throw it at it? Don't think that's effective tho. Hopefully like you all say there stubborn and won't move so I could keep the knife on the stick. Go Tarzan style on it.
