Radiata Lionfish

I saw one today in an lfs... Im thinking of setting up a tank for... I need some info on the lion, tank setup, feeding...

I also want to know what should i look out in a ratiata to see if its healthy.. The lfs is selling it for 50$usd(2000inrs)

Would a 36x18x18 do..? the fish is about 4"

I had one for a while in a 75g (48x18), They grow to 10" and should be ok in the tank your describing as long as you don't overcrowd.

They are VERY passive eaters so there should not be a competive feeder or they won't get enough food. So no Wrasses, Triggers, etc. Mine would not convert to raw shrimp and prefered to hunt Grass shrimp.

Quit handsome fish, but do not have the personality and puppy dog feel of a Volitan. But you need a large tank for a Volitan.

Wow... Its going to the only fish in the tank... Any suggestion about filteration..? And Water Changes..?

20% water change once a month. Wet dry turning over at least 8-10 times total water capacity per hour. Also don't skimp, buy a good skimmer.
