Nah if they are CITES animals, they won't be disposed of... they'll go to a zoo or aquarium or similar facility. Dixon mentioned they had been found homes already, not sure where though.

Got a pic of him? There used to be one with a flipped operculum when I worked there. Used to snap at my hand if I pressed the fleshy part of my palm to the glass.

Yea sure it's cool to have an illegal fish......or not.....it really won't be cool when they take your fish and give you a nice piece of paper saying TICKET!!!
