if the all that isn't bad enough the rocks they use around here is limestone and if u'r is the same it would definitely kill everything in the tank without chemicals. it'll raise the alkalinity so high u'r fish will durn near burst into flames
honestly though i got my rocks for free from a local stone yard which i'm friends with the owner. but even if i did pay full price they would only have been $4 for 40lb of awesome colored candy river rock. definitely worth the few bucks rather than the trouble of fixing water, buying new fish, and having to live with the knowledge u could have avoided it.
I worked on the railroad in my younger days. As everyone else has said, this is a really bad idea, even if you take the rock from 20 feet away from the track. It is also stealing... "seriously". You are taking something that doesn't belong to you.
Ill take rocks all day thats not the problem. I should steal one of their tracks, see how they would like that!
It's not a question of what they would like. They would undoubtedly not miss the rocks. It is just matter of character. There are people who are willing to take things that don't belong to them and those who are not willing. No fish for felons says who? Any felon can walk into petsmart and get fish. Im only a double mister fighting a 3rd so either way Im good.

you know what i changed my mind, i think its a spatacular idea, goahead and use them and post pics of how they look, you seem soo much smarter then everyomne trying to help you.
No I want you to explain to me how a felon cant keep fish. Iv never been background checked at my pet stores.
