I'd just avoid the damp towel on top. Spraying twice a day is probably enough, problem with the towel is it reduces air flow and this leads to stagnation. Which is IMO way worse than the cage being less humid. Is it possible to check the conditions the breeder was keeping them in?

simon what humidity gauge would you reccomend using?

Th Exo terras aren't that bad, but like stick-on thermometers, they are better for a range, rather than a precise measurement.

Awww lol. Yeah, it's good, although it could probably eat something bigger. With little snakes I personally feed more small prey items rather than one large one.
