rainbow darters and sticklebacks

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Its obvious you've never collected fish cheepster. You have NO idea what it takes to collect fish, ensure they are healthy enough to ship, and then package and ship them. As nice as it is to give fish away, it is nice to get a little something back for it.

You're one to talk when you yourself are trying to sell fish.

Sometimes I collect 3 spine and 9 spine sticklebacks from landlocked populations. I didn't have much time this year so I don't have any now. Contact skipjack. I'm sure he will want to make 20 bucks from you.

OH! Seems that I prematurely called a truce Cheepster. Now it is ON! I will not let you get away with anything! I will be sure to make it known that you cannot ID the fish that you are selling. You post them up here for others to ID then you sell them on aquabid under the handle Diburning. You posted Lake sturgeon as "sterlets" which you later realized were a Eurasian species. How can you sell these fish without educating yourself first? You say you are attending MIT, I would expect alot more out of an MIT student. MIT must have really lowered there admission standards recently. I am telling you IT IS ON! :WTF:

BTW Thanks Drewish!:headbang2

OOPS! SORRY ABOUT THE OUTBURST! I, for the record, fully retract those statements, please disregard.

Dude, that's not cool. I cannot believe you have the gall to comment on skipjack when you do the same thing, only half ass. You cannot even ID a green sunfish for God's sakes, an obvious indication that you are only doing it for money and not out of love for the hobby, the fish or the places they come from.

IMHO Brook sticklebacks are the meanest fish to be found. I wouldn't keep them with any fish other than sticklebacks. I once made the mistake of putting two inside a 55 gallon tank. After it removed fins from half the fish in the tank I spent two nights attempting to remove them from the tank.

For the record:
Sellers of native fish love the animals they offer. I hardly think $5.00 per fish is outrageous. If you think the prices are too high then sell them for less! If you want to buy these fish and think the price is outrageous then get in the water and get them for yourself. Anyone that attends MIT should know how the free market works. If you have a better product or a better price........ Go for it! Some of the things involved in offering these native fish: Working on the weekends to find these fish, driving from stream to stream (have you seem the gas prices!). Buying shipping supplies (bags, boxes, shipping foam, oxygen & chemicals to ship fish). Staying up late on Sunday night to pack fish and getting the labels right etc. I guess you don't get out much if you think $5.00 per fish is a ripoff. Are you old enough to drive Meepster? Do you know what the gas prices are?

Oh...Word has it that Skipjack drives a Porsche from the vast fortune that he's built from selling fish for $5.00 each online:ROFL:
