I have a medium sized outdoor tropical pond that is currently home to my black pacu and CAE as well as a trio of red-cheek barbs. Would it be possible for me to add a rainbow shark without mayhem being the eventual outcome? Thanks in advance.

What is your definition of "medium sized"? Considering black pacu hit almost 100lbs.... your "medium pond" better be a few thousand gallons of water.

You can add the ? fish but it might get eaten by ur pacu if it’s really big.

By the same token, the pacu can easily feed on the CAE.

Maybe true that they can reach 100 lbs, IDK I thought 50 lbs is more realistic. Anyway, our pair is 5 years old and still about 25 lbs eyeball.

It contains about 10 000 gallons.

My CAE and pacu have been pond mates for almost five years now. They pretty much ignore each other.
