Rainbow Snakehead, what to feed?

So i can actaully have some snails and shrimps in the tank, and they wont hunt them down?

no , shrimps would get eaten . large snails would be ok apple snails and the like .

they dont prefer to eat fish but more shrimps prawns insects ect , they will eat any smaller snails also

So if i have to feed them with something thats alive, its better to use some shrimps like the amano shrimp aka. Caridina multidentata? I was wondering if i could have some of the yellow snails called Pomacea bridgesii?

Hi,

these big applesnails are too big to swallow, and COULD be fine, but some channa like to bite into their tentakels.
The mentioned shrimp will work great, but they will easily go on frosted shrimp (for example Macrobrachium lancestri from Vietnam). Small snails are a welcome snack by nearly all of my channa.
My bleheri go crazy when I feed them sticks and flakes. So live food is not realy a must.
