i had mine with various bichirs,other rainbows,a convict,an aro,scombs.
some other tankmates.
btw,im 14 too.
my parents arent really fish nerds either.
but you know how i got the big tanks in the house?
i kept asking and asking.

lol ive worked out, the more is ask the less likely they are to let me get one!! would a green terror work O.K? how about a slavini or a texas or a JD?

wow thanks for the link stotty,, i think i will go down that road.insulating the garage is to big a job,it has a tin roof and the walls are pre-formed concrete,so it would be a right s.o.a.b to get a fixing,,i had planed on puting a new wood roof on in the summer with 100mm cellotex,,not to sure yet what to do about the walls?

Do what i did with the roof take a look.

Green Terror is a no no it will rip it to bits and so would a JD

nice job stotty,did you have problems with condensation on the ceiling?some times in mine it like it is raining and do you lose heat in the floor?

Yes it did before I insulated it like yours the condensation ran off the ceiling I also fitted a humidity run bathroom extractor fan the heaters hardly come on in the winter it stays at a quite even temperature.
