I noticed he might have been orienting himself weird this morning but I thought he also might have been trying to eat.
I came home and started a water change and noticed he really has a swim bladder issue. Was swimming upside down.
I fed frozen mysis today and nls float, nls red and some nls thera a yesterday along with sinking wafers (wide variety bc two containers we're almost empty )
I'm going to do more.research but in the middle of the water change. No other fish are acting differently. Tank was due for a water change today so nitrates were about as high as I'd let them get (20-30ppm). Tank has been going with current stock for at least ten months.
I have a quarantine tank. I'm thinking of moving him there but it just been sitting with rotting food for a few weeks to keep bacteria alive. Obviously I'd do a water change there first.
What can I do? I read in my brief research that I can try Epson salts. Another link said fasting or high fiber foods.
Thanks for any help.and I'll researchore when I'm done changing water.
