Rainforest cafe

There was one at a mall here a few years ago but the company that owns the chain decided to close down the location.It was a cool place with pretty good food.I liked the robotic animals along with the fish tanks...wish they would have left it here.

I was at the one in Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco a few months ago. There was a power outage and the place went pitch black...emergency lights came on for a couple minutes, but the batteries ran out of juice and the E-lights faded out; candles and cell phones were the only sources of light in the place. I was surprised that they didn't have generators for all the big tanks...no ciruculation for 1 hour+.

Before the power outage, tanks looked ok and fish looked pretty healthy. Not sure if they lost any fish as a result of the outage.
 
Rainforest schmainforest it's all a bunch of tree hugging hippy crap anyway. :D

There is one in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Never saw a saltwater tank packed with fish like that. All fish are healthy. Some really nice specimens. Would love to take a behind the scenes tour to see the filtration system.
