I've been looking at a lot of threads for breeding but i haven't found anything helpful in my situation.
i have a medium-large pair of breeding texas cichlids that i bought maybe 5 or 6 months ago.. I've noticed that the fry get eaten by the female after a week or 2. (I already know that she eats them up because she wants to breed again.)
I've been trying to raise the fry and hopefully grow some out. Would taking her out help this situation? i've heard that the male can be the better parent in some situations. I thought i'd ask you guys first because i don't want to try any trial/error methods on my fish and cause any unnecessary stress.
