Come on gar man, ate a crayfish with a disease? Can you provide any info on that? What disease? I'm pretty sure crayfish and fish do not share disease. Dude come back to reality, fish do do die, don't grab at straws to put the blame on something else. If a gar in your care died it probably died because of something you did wrong. It's how we learn, blaming the death on a bad worm or crayfish or what ever is just a river in Egypt.

i meant to say bas and after he ate it hte next morning he was floating belly up dead

75 is a great growout

I'd say a 180 but preferably a 220 is as small as I'd go for a largemouth

So your fish ate a crayfish, his natural food, the next day he was dead so it had to be the crayfish's fault?

seen a 16 inch LMB in a 220 and it did just great

i think 1 would be fine in a 220 for life
