  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It could be everything you have stated. Someone just has to figure it out including myself.
Very true. I've gotta get a breeding group someday, here water is silky soft :)

Strange there isn't anyone currently active on the forum who has success breeding senegal's considering they are the most commonly available bichir and captive bred's always pop up around the place. It will be really good if I can successfully grow-out the fry so I can bring Australia some more bichir's as they are quite rare here. So many different things I can try this batch and next I dunno where to start. Guess I will go do some more forum research...

Yeah that's annoying. I will persevere :D I have alot of options to try. I think a low water level may have alot to do with it after reading the forums. Seems raising them in a shallow plastic tub might be viable. It would make sense as they could get easy access to the water surface if they need it to help develop their lungs. Worth a try I guess...

There are few I’ve seen on some fb poly groups with members raising Senegalus and Delhezi fry. Can search it out.

The polypterid fanatic group on fb has a few others which I can’t link. Can join the group and search.
