He probably means a house on stilts. Steel/wooden poles used to support a house up off the ground. I have the same house, I too am wary of the weight support because there isnt a great deal of bracing and support under the house.Onion01;1335730; said:

They are most likely just new to hobby and dont know any better. Ya should of given them some advice rather then laugh.
Actually knowing Dr Joe's style I'm sure he did give advice, as for the Swallow end of the gene pool, made sense to me ... their mothers should have swallowed the night they were conceived LMAO 
Jokes only .... it's all just poor wording on most of them and could be taken wrong, Dr Joe has most likely posted this as comic relieve only and was not trying to embarrass anyone which is why he didn't post websites and names of the people who made the comments.

Wasnt so much Dr Joe i was referring to. And yes i agree its not that big a deal. My first post was sorta mucking around too. Was only being a smart ass not trying to cause trouble. Not real worried either way though take it how you like.

we all start somewhere, most of us probably not on stilts, but somewhere....
and I've never actually done it, nor would I, but I have thought about trying to catch fish that I have in my tank, just to see how strong they are...however, that'll have to wait til I have a real pond someday....
