Rameshorn snail with white build up on shell. normal?

Color changing for me happends on the smaller ones. maybe the size range between 4mm to 7mm. Since they are not new borns, I am sure they changed color. When their body is black, they still have transparent shell. Color changing only happends to few.

No color change at all for bigger size.

the black in the middle shows part of it's black body. was able to take this shot before battery run out.
 
well thats what mine look like as well from time to time... so if you say its fine, then great :)
