ok I want to get a pair of german blue rams and there not proven.. when they lay there eggs what do I do... I want to take em out and do them my self but I don't know what to do after I take the eggs out... Some tell me and what do I have in the tank with them beside sponge filter and that... Like do I put slate or sumthen in there?

One of the main appeals of breeding cichlids is watching the parents care for their offspring. There are certain circumanstances where removing the eggs might be appropriate, but in general it's best to leave them with the parents. I'd worry more about actually getting them to spawn for you first! ;)
