OK its an MFK rule in the photo thread that when u get a 300+ gallon tank that u put a full tank shot up so go and do it or the mfk mod police will be after u

Nice plecos. What temp is the tank at though? You don't usually see cold and warm water fishes mixed.

snook are not cold water.
avg. cichlid temp.
a little warmer is fine and little cooler for the peacock. low 80's.


and a little suprising, the snook hang out up top above/next to the heater still.

oh, sorry.
PB are supposed to have warmer 86f water.
just assumed.....


the koi is with the minckleyi. (dither for the male)
the temp in there should be in the 90's.
i have it mid-high 80's now.
but it is doing great.

ponds outside inthe summer get 80's and even 90.
they do fine out there.
ponds do cool at night though.


it was just one i missed and found it in a tank after the ponds outside alredy froze over.
