Went out for lunch today and then decided to shoot around Kuwait, this is it, as it really is. I wouldn't trade this place for the world no matter how bad it can get.

I'll start off with Kuwait's very special bunch of blue buildings, for some reason those are very common around here.

Mosques, a common scene.

A door to an old house, now a museum.
I'll take more pics of the house from the inside and out later on.

Dhow, a key element in Kuwaiti culture.
The way they're built, the builders, divers and fishermens enthusiasm is amazing, and I know that well because of my grandfather whom worked as a fisherman his whole life.

and last but not least, a beautiful sunset.

Not the greatest, I occasionally find oddballs and whatnot.
but the plus side is you can haggle all you want.

I doubt, he's not in a good fishing spot really.

Yes it has, pretty much the only thing that slowed down its development was Gulf War, we almost had to start all over again.

Why 1965? anything special?

It's amazing how much a little country has to offer, though tourism isn't big business here which is why the best way to get around to all the best places is meeting the local people and getting your guidance from them.
