Due to having a cramped fish room, shooting full tank shots is not easy but nonetheless, I snapped off some quickies to give you guys an idea.....
The only FTS I shot with flash is the 72 bowfront that has 8 pikes and 4 silver dollars. I used flash because I can't get these chicken poop fish to come out with lights on. The tank is reversed since the bow front totally ruins photos.
5.5' 120 holds my melanurum grow outs, a pair of heros notatus and a watermelon panaque that is being housed here temporarily. The panaque is the one in the pic above with the cory cat. I have a male melanurum setting up shop in the left hand corner.
Next up is the 6' 125 that houses my royal merlion gold aro with a pair of lugubris pikes, two small indo tigers, a pair of small wild bn plecos, a 5" Galaxy pleco and a huge watermelon panaque.
I'm using 3000K lighting on this tank, hence the off colour. No flash.
Up next is the 5' 150 that houses a young CV Maju red aro. He lives with a pair of silver dollars that spend all their doing breeding runs, a pair of albino bn plecos, a pair of L95/Pelligrini plecos, and a small L14 goldie.
This tank is totally blacked out for the sake of the red aro so getting decent pics is not easy with regular tank lighting. I threw some pellets in to get the L95s off the back wall where they were virtually invisible.
Blacked out 6' 180 that houses a young Pang Long Diablo Red aro, female marbled motoro stingray (far right corner, she's shy) a group of silver dollars, a very tiny indo tiger, a 4" NTT tiger that is always hiding in the dark corners and a young fei feng. No flash.
And last but not least, the 8' 360 that houses the Panda Gold aro, a pair of marbled motoro stingrays, two 15" ripsaw cats (hiding), two indo tigers (hiding), one NGT tiger (hiding), 13-14" female lenticulata pike and a rescued 14-15" orino that refuses to eat (previous owner must have fed him only live).
I am currently planning to drill this tank and paint the background. Water is always getting between the tank and blue backing so I tore the backing off and will go with paint instead. No flash.
