Very nice! If they haven't already, those dorados will soon start punishing the poor red hooks and yellowfin tinfoil barbs. :(

They dish out some punishment but they actually fight more amongst themselves. I have never seen fish that fight so much. They will go from all out fighting to schooling with each other. Even with all the fighting they do very little damage to each other. (at this size) Biggest being about 8-9". I need to either get rid of them or move them to the 300. They are cramped right now in my opinion.

That is because it is impossible to have a fat dorado. The metabolism on these guys is crazy fast. When I feed them or I should say over feed them which I am not going to do anymore they have huge grotesque bulges in their stomachs from eating so much shrimp. They seriously can get back down to looking normal in a matter of 6-8 hours.

lol...
need feeding video...

ima get a dorado soon... maybe next season when my fish are bigger

Thanks guys.... It's no biggie that it is a silver I did not spend a dime on it. It's just cruddy that the person who bought it got it on special order from her wholesaler and paid a lot more than a silver aro price. It was leaving whether it was a silver or black. This fish is so skiddish it actually makes me angry. He/She will eat out of my hand but if anyone else besides me is even near the tank I see it looking left and right for an escape route and it has already busted thru the top twice onto the carpet. Very skittish fish I have never had a problem with any other fish being like this. It is not a recent purchase has been with me for about 5 months now. I could try in the 300 but I am looking to move in another direction with the fish I will be keeping

Nice collection of fish! Hang in there, I get "burnt" out too sometimes, but when I just chill watching my fish, especially the ones I have raised from babies to MONSTERS I get alot of satisfaction!
