I also wash my hands frequently (I work in a health facility with lots of people with compromised immune systems) and use a paper towel or tissue to open a public washroom door after I've washed my hands.

Enough info, Jer? :)

I do the same thing with bathroom doorknobs. Dont you hate it when there no trashcan to throw your papertowel in once you've already opened the door? What do you do then? Just throw it on the ground? lol

that is a bet you would lose and those hand sanitizer things are a joke and when lounging around the house the whole one minute to put it in the machine and 30 seconds to transfer to the dryer does not classify as all my spare time ahhahahahahhaha

perhaps people in my house are not lazy and dont consider work a thing to be avoided, please dont take that as a personal shot but since we are doing laundry anyways with 7 kids why not do the linens

sounds like they had plenty of spare time

me, about once a month. sometimes more like if i was sick or... something....................
me, whenever they get um.....yeah nevermind :D

I don't get how people are sooo grossed out by using towels multiple times. You are all saying how gross it is to use a "dirty" towel saying dead skin, dingle berries and their rear end has come in contact with it.

I say we take a black light to your bed and see how that looks. Im 100% positive that you don't change your bed linens everyday? I am also 100% sure that everyone has been in their birthday suit at least ONCE in bed! Not to metion that your body releases more oils through your skin while you sleep, dead skin fall off your body while you sleep, you sweat at night, and don't forget all the liquids you are your partner are letting on the bed!

So if your a person who changes towels every shower then you should change your bed linens every night before bed!

I personally get a new towel on sunday and again on wednesday 3-4 uses sounds fine to me!:headbang2

i sleep on a bag of hay. i just replace it once it rains and gets it wet

I agree 100%, And he is not calling anyone lazy here, he is speaking on behalf of his home, and mine is the exact same way. My kids love cleaning things as well. My 5 year old daughter accompanies me for EVERY water change, on all 25+ tanks no matter what. She wants to be the one that makes them stay "pretty"....Different households focus on different things, and that is a good thing.
My best friend does not wash his jeans...Ever....If I tried that crap, my swass would stink them up in no time, but he does not stink. Just naturally not as skin sheddy, or overall funky as myself...I'll admit it, my a** stinks...It takes a ton of effort on my part to defeat this smell that would rather be there, than not. I floss like 10 times a day, 2-3 showers, brush after I eat anything, morning noon and night, and whenever I get a bad taste in my mouth. I trim my nails often. I have shoes from 10 years ago that are brand new still, because I am true to the style on my behalf.....To each their own, and my OCD is my bisuness....:ROFL::ROFL:

Would it make you feel better if I told you your spam makes me laugh all the time? I would love to read an actual thought of yours someday though.

so how to germaphobes start a siphon??? or do any other tank maintenance for that matter? If you are healthy, you have very little risk of getting sick from things like using a towel more than once. One thing I will not do though is use sponges to clean dishes. That must be that nastiest thing ever. There is no way you can get a sponge clean after using it and it just sits there and grows stuff.
