here is the one ? that drives me absolutely nuts

I have 2 white board menus right above my head and people come up and ask what is on the menu. I just shake my head turn and look and point at the whiteboards and ask if that helps.

And why do people consistently confuse planaria with various roundworm species? They don't look remotely similar! Roundworm often look hairlike and float in the water, planaria look like a human male's reproductive organ and crawl like a slug. They are sooooo different but it's like nobody cares in this hobby. This hobby where you will get jumped for pronouncing something incorrectly or keeping a baby fish in a tank too small for the largest adult of that species ever caught. I pick on people, too, but planaria?

No problem with all my Oscars, my hands are in their tanks constantly and they don't pay any attention. My Flowerhorn.....? Not so much. I'm to the point now that if I want to syphon the bottom (30" tall tank) I have to literally net him and put him in a 5 g bucket during the water change. He's fast, he draws blood and I have scars. He's beautiful and I care very much about him....but I won't miss him like I will my Oscars when he's gone.
Oh. My question.....why do hundreds of people come here to ask a question, it turns into a 10 page thread when they're already going to do whatever it is they want no matter what anyone else says? That drives me nuts. Do they just want to see their name?
