After looking around, vitamin B deficiency seems like a highly likely culprit.
Did some research on my primary fish fillets (rockfish) and thiaminase. Turns out rockfish ( family Sebastidae) don't contain thiaminase. But obviously my fish not eating pelets are not getting enough thiamine, I ordered vitachem and plan on dosing the fillets. I am also only feeding NLS carnivore pelets until the vitachem gets here. Hopefully this solves my issue. I will keep this thread updated for anyone in the future having similar issues.
