Randy Coture back and fighting Brock Lesnar!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
no if anything coulture and nog is the right fight (provided nog beats mir), a loss to brock would be devasting. brock is a big boy with alot of knock out power. also brock need to get a few fights under his belt to be a title contender. whats his record? look at machida's record.. that boys still waiting for a title shot.

on a side note, if randy loses any of the 3 fights, a match up with fedor would be worthless IMHO.

btw dana needs a punch to the throat.

I would be f—king horrified if Affliction is still in business by January. They’re going to burn a lot of cash in the next couple of months, believe me. Good luck to them and I’ll be sitting here waiting to see what happens. These guys are dying on the vine, they'll be gone in a couple of months anyway and then Fedor will have to come here. Listen, you’re not under contract if the company isn’t in business anymore. We’ll figure it out.”

I don't now why in the Hell they let some fake ass wrestler in the UFC to begin with. That being said, Randy Cotour is a legend in his own right and I hope he beats the living Hell outta Lesnar. GO RANDY!!!

Just because Lesnar was a Professional Wrestler doesn't mean that he's not an athlete. Lesnar is a legitiment Werestler before he joined the WWE. Just like Matt Hughes. I consider Pro-Wrestlers athletes anyways. They condition themselves and realistically, they pick up heavy guys run around for a good amount of time. I don't any average person can do that without getting seriously hurt. BUt anyways, I hope Randy wins! He's always been one of my favorites!

I also don't think he deserves this fight, but this is the weakest divison in the UFC, so this kind of stuff is going to happen. Personally, I think Cain is just as deserving, but whatever. But, Kongo does not deserve a title fight either. He is wildly inconsistent, and whenever he has a big fight he cant come through (with the exception of Cro Cop)

I don't find this to be WILDLY inconsistant.

He's never got knocked out and herring was a very good fighter over in pride. (not so well when he came back to the UFC)

Lesner is getting a shot at the title because he's charismatic and he's a tank...Coture's gonna end his career on a bad note if he doesn't step up and out perform. Holyfield anyone?

Should be a good fight..

The key to this debate though lies in the weight class. Machida is in the best weight class, and Brock is in the worst. Also, it has to do with fighting style, while those who are real mma fans will note how good of a fighter Machida is, his style doesn't lend itself to the "big ticket", Brock's certainly does though, regardless if it pleases the mma purists.

I'm talking about how he fights. When he came on to the scene it looked like he was on his way to the top, and fast, and when he fought Carmelo not only di he lose, but it was one of the most boring fights ever, mainly because Kongo was easily taken out of his game, and couldn't adapt. Then he fights Silva and wins in a majority decison, then looks very good against Cro Cop (standing up), and then lost to Herring. The problem is whenever Kongo got put into a posistion to take that "next step" he couldn't get it done. Personally, I like him as a fighter, but he frustrates the crap out of me because he has such a hard time finishing fights. Thats why he doesn't deserve it, not to mention he really hasn't beat anybody either.
