I bought a new Raphael last night! found it at Petsmart, and trust me, I've never seen raphaels until i came on this site! And since I've heard most of you have been to petsmart, I thought i was willing to make a 1 hour drive to the closest petsmart, yes, I live in canada, they are rare here! And there we go, I saw him, bought him without even looking at the price tag. And now he's living with cory cats and tetras, but my only problem is.. he's not eating! I've even tried feeding frozen krill! and he ain't leaving his favourite spot under the fluval filter! So what should i do?

My other plans are get a 300g and create a monster tank like all you guys! LOL! no no! honestly, I'm planning on dedicating him another tank with just other catfish there, unless some of u got a solution for me! thanks in advance!

Feed him at night. You bought a fish that will rarely come out into the daylight.

He'll be fine with your cories as he won't bother them. 8 inches is the largest recorded so far but they're not fast growers.

a 20 gallon? =( i'm just that worried about him! it's the first time i saw one at a pet store and i'm afraid if i lose him, i'll never find one again!

He should be fine. SRC like it dark... some say that they get used to the light ... but not mine. what are you feeding him ? BTW how much did you pay for him ?

I fed staple feed, discus pellets, dried krills (which obviously did not sink), lots of blood worms (didn't bother coming to sniff them), so I'm dropping in frozen krill =( will he come out?
And it wuz $9.99 CAD here! WOOHOO!! I wanna drive back to get another one! haha
And can someone tell me is Gulper Catfish the name they use at petshop? i wanna find one!
