When we carried them at my LFS, they were never seen, always hiding in the darkest spots.. I would have to show customers where they were because they could never find them..
Mine don't he keep's to himself. At night (when its dark) he just kick's it with my featherfin and his cavemate buddy the pleco. Ogre catfish is another name for the Gulper. Oh mine btw eat's frozen bloodworms..

And yes, ur right =) lights off! he's out hiding here and there, i just dumped a chunk of shrimp in there! cuz even if he doesn't eat it, i still got 7 corys =)
My raphael goes out during feeding time, which is right after lights on in the mornings and right after lights off in the evenings.
I also made sure that the hole (cave) in the driftwood in his tank faces the front side of the aquarium. This way, I can still see my raphael even when it is "hiding".
