never give you fish feeder
thay can give your fish parasites and diseases
 
i feed my spotted; black worms, pellets/flake, angle worms, small bits of market shrimp...i have it in a well planted tank and it hides in the open so i always see it...
 
cheers, how much grow from this fish could I expect for each month or maybe in a year time?they are a very slow growing fish.
 
depends on the cat you got striped or spotted...spotted stay smaller so it would grow in smaller increments when compared to the striped...they both don't get very big, my spot is about 4" or so they tend to get bigger heads and bigger around faster then longer...
 
mine one is striped, currently around 5", I am just wandering how many years should it take to grow up to 10", and what is their grow rate each month?
 
i am not sure on the growth for them but i don't think it is very fast...if i remember right it should take a few years to get that big...maybe someone with exp. with striped will chime in with a better answer for you...
 
Those are some big Raf's. I have a 8 1/2" er that is the largest I have ever seen. Until today. How old are yours? I got mine at 1" and had for 6 years.
