Raphael catfish

I give them each their own cave, they do argue and croak after I change the water and change their driftwood around. They don't hurt each other, but it's a little stressful. There are only tiny fin tears at worst, no major injuries. My 10 amblydoras nauticus spend all day in one massive dogpile without incident, though, so every raphael species must be considered seperately.

I havent had any issues with sharing of hiding spots. I can have up to 6 of them in the one piece of lava rock. And at night when they do come out, they are often lined up side by side when they aren't cruising the tank.

At most I would say a bit of a tail shake(usually kicks up more gravel than anything else) and its done. I haven't had any noticeable injuries on mine.
