Just wondering what the growth rate is for these guys, I have one that's about an inch long, I want him in my 100, but he's so small, thanks in advance.

I've had mine for around a year and he has grown from half an inch to about 4 long but he is super fat. They seem to get super round vs growing longer.

Thanks, so they are pretty slow growers, its already pretty fat for a little guy. Ive got him on the smaller massivore pellets.

I've had my stripped ones for a little over 1yr and its 5". Spotted ones are 4". Very slow growers. But they sure get round very good. Here are some pics a couple of months back.

raph's are awesome, its just a shame they hide constantly.

When I was 16 I picked up a striped raphael that was 6 inches long, full sized adult basically; had him another 8 years before passing him on, I like to imagine he's still out there, hiding in someones tank, making those rumbling burring noises at other fish

Ive had one for about 2yrd (spotted) grew from about 1 inch to maybe 2.5 -3 then completely stopped. Never ever see him unless i move the dw around. I have no clue what he eats but he is chubby.

Thanks everyone, I'm looking forward to mine putting on some size, hes gonna be in with a pair of pikes so he's gonna need it.

I've had my striped for 2.5 years. I got him at 1.25-1.5" and he's currently 5.5-6". Very slow growing fish but they will put on some size of given time. There is a very old pair of stripeds (probably at least 15 yrs) where I work that are 12" and 14".

I would love to see a pic of them if it's ever possible. Never seen one that big.
