Tank info to make this easier:

180 gallon tank

Filtered by 3 HOB: emp and 2 penguins 350's (or whatever the biggest penguin is)

Stock: 12" fire eel, 11 giant danios, Red Shoulder Sevurum, 11" Albino Oscar

Temperature of tank: 84 degrees

Parameters: 0/0/<10. Went to three pet stores to get the water tested. 2 used strips, one used the api liquid tests. All three said the same.

The tank has only been running for a week. I used stability so that is why there is so much stock already. As the parameters show... the tank is already cycled (today was the last day to add stuff). The first thing put into the tank were 12 danios. One jumped and killed itself. Next day, I added the Severum. Couple days later the fire eel. I added the oscar yesterday.

The severum is the problem. It has been breathing abnormally the since the 3rd day. It has gotten worse each day since. It has always been shy and still hasn't eaten in a week. It was healthy at the store... they just moved it from a different tank because it was breeding with a Green Sev and they didn't want mutt babies.

Although breathing hard, it is still very feisty towards the oscar routinely chasing it off. None of the other fish seemed to have any problem, including the eel which I would think would be bothered from something in the water before anything else.

Your ideas are appreciated. A bit perplexed. The fish has wonderful color I would hate to lose it. I added a video of the breathing. Its color is obviously not on full display.

The stupid video thing never works.

have you tried dropping the temp at all to allow more dissolved oxygen in? (bear in mind I'm no disease expert just trying to think of something)

what does that 0/0/<10 imply?

Is ph good? and is GH and KH appropriate? Beware of crashes
Is it pooping and is it normal?

Also, Hav you added salt?
I would try this first because of the possibility of osmotic shock

also, try reading up on the redox balance
I don't know much about it but i think it has something to do with osmosis

Thats just what I would try

hope it helps

Tell it to get well soon from daniel

Temp does seem a bit high, other than that, nothing sticks out to me. What has you WC regiment been since noticing this?
