thanks. thats him in his breeding dress colors but either way he has turned out to have a lot of color. none of my other fish come close to comparing to his color
Not really an update, just sharing a nice shot of the alpha male:
This is what he looks like in his mellow state.
When he shows display of dominance, it's a thing of beauty! however very tough to photograph since he turns subordinate in my presence.

The trio is now a solo: He's 11 inches and growing slower lately but still an absolute stunner!
