A few people said the same thing about my former juvie Trimac from Rapps but as he grew, everyone could see he was 100% Bad A*s Trimac. If it's from TUIC, I have no doubt it's the real thing.

Here he is...this is from TUIC. Somepeople said this is a FH too. It's sad that hybridizing has brought the hobby to this point. Some people said his flowers didn't show up enough and others said he's too sparkly. Others said his shade of green is wrong and body shape is off. Chago said he's a FH because Trimacs don't have any blue in their fins.

You're right - everybody thinks everything is a hybrid these days, including myself, to some extent.
I did in fact have some true trimacs about 10 years ago - and at that point, they would have been true trimacs - They were triangle shaped, grayish green, with hot red eyes.
And of course, there's SELECTIVE BREEDING amongst true species Trimacs, I am sure - so they would understandably look different also.
