confused, lost, and lonely
Does any one keep raptors [the birds, not the dinosaurs( although if any of you keep the dinosaurs please pm me asap)], if so what. I kept a sparrow hawk, glove trained, for about six months, it was hit by a truck, bummed still and it has been almost twenty years.

Nope but it sure would be sweet. I raised an orphaned American robin once though, awsome pet...better then any bird you get at the pet store. He would fly around outside and follow you. Poor guy hit a cealing fan. Sounds funny I know but believe me it wasen't , did not die till the next day. I also raised a Canada goose once.

Watching them "hurt" other birds? You guys on this site really are sick. Its interesting watching them hunt, kill and eat but "hurt" something? I still feel bad for the bird with the talons jabbing in its flesh. That reminds me though, I saw a bald eagle while fishing the other day (I live in central NY), that was really a nice surprise. He took a jab at some fish but missed every time.

Well some people like to see things die. u wanna hear sick me and my friends were drunk one day and we dared my friend to eat a road kill it wazz really funny i think it waz a rat ? but he waz sent to the hospital the next day and pumped his stomach out i saw now that is sick

Thats really gross. I had a friend who ate live tabpoles and baby trout...mostly for shock value. I had another friend swallow a baby bullhead...lucky it did not spine him. None of that is nearly as gross as your story though...thats really bad.

I think he meant hunt.

I know, I was half kidding on that one. I figured he ment hunt but thought I would go along with it.

You ever see a butcher bird aka northern shrike. They impale live animals on thorns or barbed wire and then eat the flies they attract, lovely.
